Veldt is a desert city with little foliage, a lake in several parts, and large waterfall. It consists of several residential tower on cliffs, as well as the queen's castle on the highest point. Two other small sandstone buildings serve as shops, and a cave to the east serves as a library and museum.
It is said that long ago, the Southern Isle was a jungle ruled by Amazons, a race of cunning warrior women that lived in the Demon Caves, and from which the Veldtonians originated. This may explain the ferocity of the modern-day Veldtonian women. Two books in the local library give conflicting statements: In the "Husband's Survival Guide," it is stated that "unfortunately, all women are mad. Yes, we must smile and protect them from stabbing themselves."[1] The sentiment that the women of Veldt are trouble, and need multiple strong men to handle and protect them, is echoed by the male villagers. However, another book, "Wife's Survival Guide," states that "husbands in general are nonsensical, which is why a woman needs several of them to accomplish simple tasks,"[2] implying the women of Veldt may look down on the men without the men knowing. Another book also mentions Veldtonian women "hunt" for husbands, and may use love potions when needed.[3]
Teyhor Dragons[]
According to several villagers and library books, some time ago, dragon riders had a society in Veldt. However, there was a day where all Teyhor Dragons flew away. A book in the library mentions these dragons are very sensitive to evil, and can't stand to be near great amounts of it,[4] which may imply that the dragons left because of Saurva's presence on the isle.

Old Woman - She sells the Locate Dragon spell after aquiring the Teyhor Dragon.
Trainer - One of the men will offer to train you for 500g. If you accept, you will gain 400 EXP.
