Pirate John is a required party member in Aveyond 1: Rhen's Quest.

Biography[]

The party first encounters Pirate John in jail on the Veniara Islands, where he asks for their help in his escape and offers his skills as a sailor and dragon rider. Initially Rhen will decline to help, but once a dragon rider is needed he can be recruited to the party.

Personality[]

Having grown up in Veldt, a matriarchal society on the Southern Isle where women have multiple husbands, At some point in his past, Pirate John was approached by a woman who decided without his input that they would be married. To prevent this, he fled Veldt under cover of night and from then on vowed to be free from women entirely. After this, he began his life as a pirate and met Mad Marge along the way.

Appearance[]

Pirate John has dark brown, curly hair and moderately dark skin. He wears a long red coat over a white shirt, and an eyepatch on his right eye. His full body sprite does not quite match his portrait, having lighter skin and a different hair texture.
